Upon call of the Mayor a special meeting of the City Council
of PALM B''ACH ^A arENS was held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 1959
at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park, Fla.

COUNTY CANAL BRIDGE:
The City Treasurer called attention to the proposal of CLEARY BROS.
CONSTRUCTION CO. to build a bridge across the County Canal in the north
half of 9iction 18, for X19,733.00. The proposal, No. CWY -390, is attached
to these minutes and made a part thereof.
The City Council unanimously instructed the Mayor to accept the
� bid.
The IAayor advised the members of the Council that Bankers Life and
Casualty of Chicago had offered to assist in securing acceptance of the
bid of Cleary Bros. Construction Company by agreeing to guarantee the
City's performance; if such guarantee was necessary.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
