Parcel A is the northernmost parcel and is approximately 22.73 acres. Project Manager: Richard Marrero, Principle Planner, rmarrero@pbgfl.com 3.Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) - QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING REZN-12-02-000012 - Rezoning from Planned Development Area (PDA) to Conservation (CONS) for 198.9 acres of canal right-of-way located within the Loxahatchee Slough A request from Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management to rezone nine (9) canal right-of-way parcels from Planned Development Area (PDA) to Conservation (CONS). The canal parcels are located within the Loxahatchee Slough and owned by Palm Beach County. The parcels total approximately 198.9 acres of land. The proposed rezoning request will provide the appropriate zoning designation and bring the right-of-way parcels into consistency with the CONS zoning designation of the surrounding parcels within the Loxahatchee Slough. A City-initiated request for text amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, which provide for a comprehensive update to several elements, including minor amendments to certain tabular data, nomenclature and other amendments which revise, clarify, and provide for internal consistency. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, MODIFICATIONS 14 Director of Planning and Zoning, Natalie Crowley advised there was a request to have the 15 agenda reordered. Specifically, Item 1 would remain the same; Item 4 would become Item 2; 16 Item 2 would become Item 3 and Item 3 would become Item 4. 17 Charles Hathaway made a motion to approve the changes. 18 Douglas Pennell seconded. 19 Motion passed 7-0. 20 V.REPORT BY DIRECTOR OF PLANNNING AND ZONING: NATALIE 21 CROWLEY 22 Reported on items approved by the City Council at the December 1, 2011 meeting. 23 VI.APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24 Joy Hecht made a motion to approve the October 11, October 18, and November 1, 2011 25 minutes. 26 Douglas Pennell seconded. 27 Motion passed 7-0. 28 VII. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) - QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING 5 PUDA-11-07-000030 Waterford Hotel Planned Unit Development (PUD) 6 Amendment 7 A request by Greenway at the Gardens, LLC, for approval of an amendment to the 8 Waterford Hotel PUD to reduce the number of existing hotel rooms from 90 to 77 through 9 the conversion of 13 rooms into suites, and to convert the private restaurant into a public 10 restaurant. Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) - QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING 24 PCDA-10-07-000010 Parcel 31.04 PCD Amendment 25 A request by Cimarron Cove, LLC and Hawkeye Central, LLC, for an amendment to the 26 Planned Community District (PCD) to allow for a revised development program consisting 27 of 15,000 square feet of restaurant, 60,000 square feet of professional office, 35,000 square 28 feet of commercial, 60,000 square feet of medical office, 10,000 square feet of bank with 29 drive through, 15,000 square feet of drugstore with drive through, 20,000 square feet of 30 health club, and 341 multi-family units.
