The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Buckley. 6
I. ROLL CALL 7
PRESENT: Tory Buckley, Mary Ann Hedrick, Phil Milton, Robert Premuroso, David Lill, 8
George Schmidt, Ernest Volonte. 9
ABSENT: Wendy Walker. 10
II. CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 11
a. Pool – discussed anticipated opening by summer of 2005. 12
b. BRCC – discussed proposed fencing, picnic area and playground. 13
c. Lake Catherine – discussed entrance area. 14
d. City Park – discussed playground area. 15
e. Tentative Event Dates – 7/16 Summer Camp for kids 9:30 a.m.; 7/19 Pool Groundbreaking 16
6:00 p.m.; 7/27 Open house for parents and kids to meet the teachers 5:30 p.m.; 7/30 17
MacArthur Boulevard Groundbreaking 9:00 a.m. 18
III. GOLF COURSE OVERVIEW 19
a. Operations – Discussion of Clubhouse, food and beverage facility. 20
b. Capital Plans – Proposed improvements to the flood areas and slopes for improved tee areas 21
and mowing capability; eradicated wild pigs; proposed water filter system for improvement 22
to the ice and water in the food and beverage facility; proposed improvements for irrigation 23
system. 24
IV. BOARDS AND COMMITTEES CODE 25
Vice Chair Premuroso announced that the next agenda would include updates from Staff 26
Liaison, Charlotte Presensky. 27
V. COMMENTS BY BOARD MEMBERS 28
Discussion of upcoming Soccer Tournaments. 29
