32 Ed McEnroe, The Honda Classic.
33 c. RECOGNITION OF SID FORBES FOR SUPPORT ON THE SCRIPPS PROJECT.
34 Council Member Joseph Russo Recognized and presented Mr. Forbes with an engraved award.
35 V. ITEMS OF RESIDENT INTEREST AND BOARD/COMMITTEE REPORTS
36 Council Member Marcie Tinsley:
37 Expressed pride for the community and is honored to be a part of it; attended several ribbon
38 cutting events and grand opening events, spoke to residents at LaPosada, gave the legislative
39 update and toured facility, attended the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meeting; Treasure
40 Coast Regional Planning Council and the League of Cities meeting. Congratulated Trela White
41 for her recognition in the Florida Bar Journal this month.
42 Council Member Joseph Russo:
43 Attended Economic Advisory group meeting in Riviera Beach, the next meeting in Tequesta will
44 be regarding Fiber Optics; Biotech overlay meeting, elected Vice Chair and provided a status of
45 Ethics Commission law suit. Attended Chamber events and the Red-White and Zin.
46 Council Member Eric Jablin:
4 7 Attended the Art in Public Places Advisory Board meeting, provided a status on the shade
48 structure and advised the Council will have a presentation in April.

2 Provided the State of the City Address to the PGA National annual POA meeting, the Historical
3 Society and the Rotary Club. at PGA National and the Historical Society, attended the Arbor
4 Day celebration on Jan. 18th with the Palm Beach Gardens Women's Club and thanked police
5 Chief Stepp and staff for their assistance at the event, attended the Borland Center event with
6 CFO Jeff Atwater and Dr. Ray Underwood.
7 VI. CITY MANAGER REPORT
8 Announced the City of Palm Beach Gardens was named Tree City USA for the 25th time in
9 2012, award issued by Arbor Day Foundation, United States Forest service and National
10 Association of State Foresters, thanked Mark Hendrickson and Mike Kelly; Chief Bergel, Fire
11 Chief, announced the Remembrance Rescue Project will be here Feb 22-March 11; Chief Stepp,
12 Police Chief, presented the report summary for 2012 police activity; provided status on the
13 Sunset Drive and 40th Terrace survey results.

37 meeting dates for July 16 and August 15,2013.

This form is for use by any person serving at tile county, city, or other local level of government on an appointed or elected board, council,
commission, authority, or committee. It applies equally to members of advisory and non-advisory bodies who are presented with a voting
conflict of interest under Section 112.3143, Florida Statutes.
Your responsibilities under the law when faced with voting on a measure in which you have a conflict of interest will vary greatly depending
on whether you hold an elective or appointive position. For 1his reason, please pay close attention to the instructions on tilis form before
completing the reverse side and filing the form.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH SECnON 112.3143, FLORIDA STATUTES
A person holding elective or appointive county, municipal, or o1her local public office MUST ABSTAIN from voting on a measure which
inures to his or her special private gain or loss. Each elected or appointed local officer also is prohibited from knowingly voting on a mea-
sure which inures to tile special gain or loss of a principal (o1her Ulan a government agency) by whom he or she is retained (including the
parent organization or subsidiary of a corporate principal by which he or she is retained); to tile special private gain or loss of a relative; or
to the special private gain or loss of a business associate. Commissioners of community redevelopment agencies under Sec. 163.356 or
163.357, F.S., and officers of independent special tax distiicls elected on a one-acre, one-vote basis are not prohibited from voting in that
capacity.
For purposes of this law, a "relative" includes only tile officer's fa1her. motiler, son, daughter, husband, wife, brother, sister, father-in-law,
mother-in-law, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law. A ·business associate" means any person or entity engaged in or carrying on a business
enterprise with tile officer as a partner, joint venturer, coowner of property, or corporate shareholder (where tile shares of the corporation·
are not listed on any national or regional stock exchange).
