6 The regular meeting was called to order at 7:01p.m. by Vice Mayor Premuroso.
7 ,1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
8 Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Vice Mayor Premuroso requested a moment of silence for
9 the passing of Carol Estrada and Port Saint Lucie Police Officer Gary Morales.
10 II. ROLL CALL
11 PRESENT: Vice Mayor Premuroso, Council Member Tinsley, Council Member Russo, Council
12 Member Jablin.

15 Deletions: Under Public Hearings Quasi Judicial, Item. C. RESOLUTION 19, 2013 -
16 AMENDMENT TO THE DONALD ROSS VILLAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
17 (PUD). A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM BEACH
18 GARDENS, FLORIDA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE DONALD ROSS
19 VILLAGE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD), AS MORE PARTICULARLY
20 DESCRIBED HEREIN, TO APPROVE THE RELOCATION AND RE-ORIENTATION OF A
21 GROUND SIGN; PROVIDING WAIVERS; PROVIDING CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL;
22 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
23 Council Member Eric Jablin made a motion to approve deletion of Resolution 19, 2013.
24 Council Member Marcie Tinsley seconded.

28 V. ITEMS OF RESIDENT INTEREST AND BOARD/COMMITTEE REPORTS
29 Council Member Marcie Tinsley: Gave condolences to the families of Carol Estrada and Port
30 Saint Lucie Sheriff Sgt. Gary Morales, attended opening day of Baseball along with the Little
31 Smiles Foundation, Florida Power and Light Open House, met with George Webb and
32 Commissioner Valeche regarding Municipal Service Tax Units, attended the TBC Corporation
33 ribbon cutting, League of Cities, luncheon at Frenchman's Creek with the Business
34 Development Board, Congressman Murphy, Commissioner Valeche; opening of the Honda
35 Classic at the Gardens Mall, Executive Women's Day Event at the Honda Classic.
36 Council Member Joseph Russo: Gave condolences to the Estrada family, attended Ballen Isles
37 Kick-off Dinner, PGA Corridor Association Event with Congressman Murphy, North County
38 Economic Advisory Group, announced the Honda Classic was an excellent event, provided
39 Inspector General Lawsuit status, advised residents are complaining about sprinkler times,
40 announced the New York Fire Department Truck brings back bad memories but is good for
41 education.
42 Council Member Eric Jablin: Gave condolences to the Estrada family, thanked his wife for all
43 of her efforts in providing clothing to Grove Park elementary school children, announced the
44 Art, Music and Dancing Under the Stars Event and gave kudos to staff for all of their efforts,
45 thanked Ballen Isles for sponsoring the Night at the Tonys on Veterans Plaza.
46 Vice Mayor Robert Premuroso: Attended the Ribbon Cutting for Capital Lighting, announced
4 7 the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League Walk for the Animals will be this Saturday at

1 Downtown at the Gardens, Congratulated Chief Stepp and Department staff for receiving the
2 Commission for Florida Law Enforcement reaccreditation award.
3 VI. CITY MANAGER REPORT
4 Congratulated Chief Stepp and the Police Department staff for receiving the reaccreditation
5 award, announced the City has the lowest crime rate in 25 years.
