Recommendation to City Council (Public Hearing) - QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING MISC-12-12-000091: Trevi at the Gardens PUD Kennedy Homes, LLC is requesting an amendment to the Trevi at the Gardens Planned Unit Development (PUD) to allow for the installation of a 16-foot high perimeter wall to be installed along a portion of the north property line and amend certain development order conditions of approval related to the timing and installation of certain improvements. The subject PUD is located at the southwest corner of Hood Road and Interstate 95. Proposed Site Plan Proposed Wall Existing Wall WAIVERS 1.Creates visual barrier to SB lanes of I-95 2.Consistent with previously approved 16’ wall on east property line adjacent to I-95 3.Painted to match existing wall on east property line 4.Proposed wall will not be visible due to significant grade difference between Hood Road and north property line Looking Northeast (Hood Road Bridge) Looking East (Existing Wall) Looking South (Taken from bridge looking down) Modification to Condition Modification would allow applicant time to construct the wall, install, and landscape buffer area without delaying site work. ◦Building 5 and 6 are the townhomes adjacent to the proposed wall.
