SUBJECT: Time Capsule
On Friday, September 8, 2006, we will be hosting the Burns Road Recreation Center
Grand Re- Opening from 4:00- 7:00pm. During this event, the newly formed PBG
Historical Society and the PBG Woman's Club will be assisting us in assembling and
burying a new time capsule outside the recreation center.
To complete the historical significance of this project, we would like for each Board or
Committee to contribute one (1) item to be placed into the capsule. The following criteria
have been established for time capsule items:
• Relevance to the City of Palm Beach Gardens
No larger than a bread box
• No smaller than a business card
• Weight of item should not exceed five (5) lbs.
Should the item you choose not fit these criteria, just let me know so we can make
appropriate plans. Once you have selected your item, please contact my office so we can
make arrangements to pick up the item. I can be reached at 630 -1105.
