Request by.Don Hearing of Cotleur & Hearing, agent for Hood Road Properties Inc., for
approval of a large -scale future land use map amendment for a 10.43 -acre property
located at the southwest corner of Hood Road and Interstate -95. The subject property has
an existing land use designation of Residential Low (RL) and the applicant is requesting
to modify the future land use map designation to Residential Medium (RM).

SUBJECT: Hood Road Residential PUD & Hood Road Comp Plan Amendment
Public Workshop (Petition No. PPUD- 06 -06- 000008 & CPMA- 06 -01-
000002)
Please be advised that there is no staff report associated with the Hood Road Residential
Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Hood Road Residential Comprehensive Plan
Amendment at this time. However, the Hood Road Residential PUD site plan petition
(approximately 85 units) and Hood Road Comprehensive Plan Amendment (future land
use map amendment from RL (Residential Low) to RM (Residential Medium) ) will be
presented by the applicant at a public workshop during the April 10, 2007, PZAB
meeting. The 10.43 -acre subject site is located at the southwest corner of Hood Road and
Interstate -95.
Please be advised that the purpose of this public workshop is to solicit comments from
and to inform the neighboring residents of the nature of the proposed development. This
public workshop shall be utilized by the Planning, Zoning, and Appeals Board to provide
non - binding comments to the developer from board members and residents as a means to
give the public additional opportunities for comment in the development review process
Staff will be present to answer any questions that the PZAB may have. Please contact me
