Certification Issues (Government Center): • Conceptual cross sections of the North, South, East and West roads with landscaping, should be submitted and show the design of the roadway beautification that is required. • Environmental assessment: - Possibility of wetlands existing in the proposed preserve area. - Review water management and engineering requirements. Non - certification Issues: • Explore the possibility of incorporating a passive park area in the Planned Community Development (PCD) in the new preserve area. Police Department Jules Barone, Crime Prevention Officer • Don Hearing confirmed that Konrad Kwok will set up a meeting to discuss incorporation of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) suggestions. City Engineer Jim Orth, Assistant City Engineer • Relocation of preserve area should be presented on the plat. • Right -of -way for linkage road should be established. • Signage should be reviewed. Seacoast Seacoast not represented. Following comments are for the record. • Existing fire sprinkler connections are in place and the new extension will work with it. Planning and Zoning • Bus shelter was depicted in previous plans and then removed. Has a new bus shelter been planned? • Library has two ingress and egress points to the site and, for security purposes, plans to maintain the existing sites. • Art in Public Places needs to be addressed because the project is over $1M. • CPTED requires the proposed library hours.
