City Forester Ray Caranci, Forestry Technician • No comments looking at specific areas in the parking lot with Planning and Zoning Department. Fire Department Scott Fetterman, Deputy Fire Chief • Concern about access to maintenance building and drop off area access. All radius' will be changed. Maintenance gate will be installed to allow full turn- around. • Confirmation that a fire hydrant is within 300 feet. One is located across the street, within 300 feet. Police Department Officer Jules Barone, Crime Prevention Officer • Lighting issues for the park at night. City Engineer Jim Orth, Assistant City Engineer • Requested clarification of proposed and existing plans. • Lighting plan will be submitted. Planning & Zoning Nina Nikolova, Planning Specialist • Additional handicap parking space shall be added or existing handicap parking space will be relocated • Color photographs of concessions, restrooms, pavilions will be submitted • Permits will be submitted to reconstruct the fishing pier • Clarification of gate on West side of parking lot is available. • Confirmation that structure is a picnic pavilion • Renderings of light poles will be provided Capital & Construction Todd Engle • Complete modernization of park will take place. Recreation Charlotte Presensky, Recreation Director • Recreation Advisory Board has been working on project 9 months, many concepts, residents have been involved. • PGA National has some concerns regarding parking lighting. City is remedying that issue. Community Services. Jack Doughney, Community Services Administrator • Project funded by impact fees. Park will remain open during construction. Construction areas only will be closed and fenced. The meeting was adjourned.
