Keith Sawyer, 10193 N Military Trail, Palm Garden Condominium, explained the
condominium clubhouse suffered serious roof damage during the hurricanes, which
took most of the available funds. There are only 32 units and funds are tight.
Council Member Jody Barnett spoke on behalf of this project. She stated this kind of
repair is what the Military Trail Grant money was intended for.
David Anderson expressed his appreciation of Mr. Sawyer coming to speak on
behalf of the application.
11. 9334 N Military Trail, Ambrocia Sun: install stone columns, rain gutters, remove
tree stump, re -sod and repair sprinkler.
Quoted amount of $5,480.00. Staff recommends maximum match of $3,000.00.
Extensive discussion ensued regarding the proposed stone columns to be installed on
the front of the house, replacing the metal supports. Donald Krzan suggested the
Board look ahead to application No. 12 for a more definitive description of the stone
columns requested since they were the same as those requested in application
No. 11.
Motions 1 and 2 were put forth, but ended inconclusively because of
misunderstanding of the items to be approved or excluded. Motion 3 for agreement
to negate the two previous motions was seconded and unanimously approved, 6 -0.
